About Us

Greenock and District Wargames Club started in 1972 at James Watt College, and over five decades later we're still meeting every week. 

In that time we've grown into a welcoming club of 25 members with a shared love of tabletop wargaming across every era and genre imaginable — historical, fantasy, and sci-fi alike.

We're proud of our roots in the local wargaming community, and each year we take our hobby on the road, running participation games at two of Scotland's best-loved shows: 

Falkirk Carronade and Edinburgh Claymore.
